Course Summary
"Excitable Dogs" is the fusion of years of passionate theoretical learning and practical, modern, behaviour modification techniques to help humans and dogs to cope with overwhelming or overexciting environments. We provide a skillset for you to handle and prevent the overexcitement that could work against your dog. We focus on behaviour, emotions and the crucial role of the Environment in making Behaviour more likely. This course is for you if you really want to have a deep dive in training techniques.
Time to toot our own horn: Affectionately, most of the owners who took this course say that they hadn't realised just how much more there was to learn in the way of helping to support their dog when out and about. Go to the "reviews" section if you want to see for yourself! In the "Zoom classes" section you will also find an Online version of this course that lasts for 4 weeks and costs £84. This is preferable for the dog (and the owner!) if the class environment is likely to impair the dog's learning due to stress.
There will be a max of 4 dogs per class and they will be on leash at all times, there will be small barriers to visually help them to focus on their area and their owners. Outdoor classes are held at the Dengie Bark Park enclosed field and a new location closer to Leigh is coming soon for more weekly appointments!
